Piedmont, Langhe, Roero. We’re arrived in Bra. Villa Trisano is here, overlooking the landscape and Alps. It’s an upper-class country dwelling. It’s on the hill, hidden by the trees. In the same place where it existed the family’s ancient dairy, from which it inherit the name. Origins and landscape suggests to the owners the future of the building in hospitality business. The project rethinks the relationship with the context. From hidden to open. The idea: to open Villa Trisano’s eyes. To make the building emerge from the trees. Simple windows are opening the view on the landscape.Save this picture!© Barbara Corsico PhotograpySave this picture!Floor planSave this picture!© Barbara Corsico PhotograpyThe building is revitalized with minor interventions and a minimal approach. The facades are cleaned up from additions and the porch is completed. Here the request is binding: do not demolish it. The colonnade thus becomes an opportunity for new relations with the park. A “storytelling”. It begins with the invitation to the Villa, reached from the rear and it ends on the transparent spaces, an hinge between internal and external life in the garden. The recovery is conducted on various fronts, enhancing each renewable component. The structures are maintained thanks to strengthen interventions and the energy consumption is reduced by systematizing various efficiency and insulation measures. The interior parquet it’s realized by reusing the ancient roof’s beams. The historical doors are restored.Save this picture!ViewSave this picture!© Barbara Corsico PhotograpySave this picture!© Barbara Corsico PhotograpyOn the one hand, the wish to read the historical volume. On the other, functionalist solutions. Where necessity prevails, it cuts on past, relationships are opened, the facade layout breaks. Balances and dissonances to offer a new, contemporary image, opposite to historical reconstruction.Save this picture!© Barbara Corsico PhotograpyProject gallerySee allShow lessShenzhen Shenwan Street Park / AUBE CONCEPTIONSelected ProjectsHouse F16 / Studio Bloco ArquiteturaSelected Projects Share Houses CopyHouses•Bra, Italy Save this picture!© Barbara Corsico Photograpy+ 36Curated by Paula Pintos Share ShareFacebookTwitterPinterestWhatsappMailOr Clipboard “COPY” Manufacturers: TECU®, Weber, Aeropan, Schucocenter_img Federico Bertoli and Daniel Antoni Year:  “COPY” Architects: bodá architetti Area Area of this architecture project Lead Architects: Villa Trisano / bodá architettiSave this projectSaveVilla Trisano / bodá architetti Products translation missing: Projects ShareFacebookTwitterPinterestWhatsappMailOr Clipboard Italy CopyAbout this officebodá architettiOfficeFollow#TagsProjectsBuilt ProjectsSelected ProjectsResidential ArchitectureHousesBraOn FacebookItalyPublished on May 12, 2020Cite: “Villa Trisano / bodá architetti” 12 May 2020. first_imgIt’s balls cold outside (that’s an actual meteorological term) which means you can do two things: 1) embrace it and find a half-frozen lake to jump into and hope you don’t have a heart attack, or 2) avoid the weather all together, retreat to a climate controlled space and drink lots of beer. It’s a personal choice. If you choose “B,” we recommend the Winter Warmer Beer Fest in Asheville (Sat. Jan 25). There, you’ll find winter seasonals and flagship beer from some of the South’s best beer mongers, as well as taps from guest brewer Surly. Surly calls Minneapolis home, so you can bet they know how to whip up a warming winter seasonal because their lives depend on it.All the regular southern players will be there (Pisgah, Highland, Oskar Blues…) but this is your best chance to check out some of the smaller brewpubs that have been popping up in the last couple of years. These small shops have limited distribution, so a festival like Winter Warmer offers the rare opportunity to sample a variety of uber-local beers in a single go.I like the new Lookout Brewing Company, out of Black Mountain, which is beginning to make a name for itself among locals thanks to their superior IPA. Plus, instead of your standard growlers, they sell 32 ounce mason jars to-go. Sweet.last_img read more
