first_imgQPR midfielder Jordon Mutch says he is finally settled at the west London club after undergoing an embarrassing initiation ceremony.Rangers paid the £6m release clause to secure his services from Cardiff in the summer and he was swiftly ordered by his team-mates to mount a chair and belt out a tune. The former Birmingham man came through his audition with flying colours and helped Rangers earn their first points of the season with a 1-0 win over Sunderland before the international break. He may not have the X Factor but he’s a lot more settled in west London ahead of their trip to Old Trafford on Sunday.“It’s been nice,” he said. “I’ve been here a while now and I have done my initiation.“Getting my initiation out of the way was good. I am settled now and looking forward to Old Trafford. I sang R Kelly and it was embarrassing but now I can watch the other new boys do theirs.“It’s difficult moving club, I’ve moved three times and been on loan. The first month is always difficult because you are in a hotel and meeting new players but all the boys have been really good and welcomed me really well.“It took a couple of months to settle but it’s a great city and I am excited to be here for four years and I think this club is going to progress a lot over the next few years.” Jordon Mutch 1last_img read more
